Calling All High School Senior Artists in North Carolina!

Are you a talented high school senior with a passion for art? Do you want your artwork to be showcased at a prestigious event? Here's your chance to shine!

Black Jedi Zulu is excited to announce "Artistic Blooms," a private fundraiser event in support of The Cranston Hargrove Memorial Arts Scholarship.  Taking place in May 2024, celebrating the vibrant artistic talent of North Carolina's youth. We are inviting high school seniors, from across the state to submit their artwork for consideration.

Whether you’re into painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, or any other medium, we want to see your creativity bloom! Selected artworks will be prominently displayed during our exclusive event, providing a unique opportunity for you to showcase your talent to a distinguished audience.

But that's not all - "Artistic Blooms" offers more than just exhibition. It's an opportunity for you to potentially monetize your talent(s) and expand your network through personable and digital platforms. Attendees will have the chance to make donations and/or purchases of displayed artworks directly from the artists themselves via personalized QR Codes.

This is not just an opportunity to exhibit your artwork; it's a chance to make a difference. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards supporting arts education initiatives for youth across North Carolina.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Open to high school seniors in North Carolina

  • Artwork submissions must be original creations

  • Multiple entries are welcome.

  • Deadline for submissions: Friday, April 19th - 10 pm

Acceptable Works

  • Hanging work must be between 5 x 5 inches and 36 x 36 inches

  • 2D artworks (drawing, painting, printmaking - ready to hang)

  • 3D artworks (sculpture, installation work)

  • Written work (framed0
